Aaron has considerable experience representing both the developer and the neighbour in the field of Neighbourly Matters on some very high profile projects in Central London, including the Shard of Glass, 20 Fenchurch Street and 100 Bishopsgate.
Occupying premises in an urban environment means that you are often exposed to neighbouring building works. Whilst you can control the environment created within your own office, noise, dust and vibrations caused by neighbouring building works can be troublesome. You may receive a formal ‘Notice’ from a neighbour under the Party Wall etc Act and this is your entitlement to ensure that the works are carried out legally and sympathetically. Aaron is a partner in an industry leading practice in the field of Neighbourly Matters and often talks on the subject to law firms seeking to extend their practical knowledge of the law and how it can be used effectively to protect building occupiers.
